I have had multiple posts planned for this blog, but little time to write them. This is partially due to the the time being spent on my latest project, Project Ordine. It’s a rewrite of my unpublished 2012 novel entitled, The Labyrinth of Cosa Nostra. This rewrite is being completed during November for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), a yearly event in which writers across the world strive to write a novel of 50,000 words in 30 days.
Jake is sixteen years old, and he has problem. No, he didn’t grow fangs, wings, or get super powers… at least, he doesn’t think so. He wakes suddenly in the middle of the night – alert, tense, all senses straining – for no apparent reason. Then he begins sleepwalking. He’s conscious of what he’s doing, yet he can’t stop, and he can’t wake up. Jake wonders if it’s merely an adolescent phase. He desperately searches for answers. But when a war is waged to win over his allegiance, Jake may find that it’s not just answers he desires. He wants control.
